Wednesday after a trip to the tip I sorted out Steven or overseas and Kenny or ex over the "boarderer" with some painting jobs at the club. Then went off to Pool Cricket club to clean out and cut two pitches.
Below are the pictures.
The brown is typical of the Cricket grounds in the region this season due to the extreme cold weather we have had.
Clive the groundsman at Pool is keen to get some fertiliser on he will be dissapointed this morning as the rain that was forecast has not arrived.
Some slightly weak areas but not bad overall considering.
Pool have a problem with rabbits they like to graze the lush grass of the square.
Below is a picture from Headingley yesterday you can see the brown of the grass in the background.
I hope our guys bat better than Yorkshire did in their first game.
Cheers
Hodgy
